Overview
Our waterproof carton applies a full-surface waterproofing agent that gives the board exceptional water rejection. Water runs off the surface rather than soaking in, and the board underneath keeps its strength — while remaining fully repulpable.
Superior water rejection
The coating is applied on the 2.8 m precision coating unit, the same equipment used for functional paper treatment before lamination. Coverage is uniform across the sheet, so corners, panel edges and creases perform as well as flat faces.
Strength that survives wetting
Untreated corrugated board loses most of its compression strength within minutes of soaking. Coated board retains strength far longer, which is decisive in cold-chain, seafood and horticultural supply chains where boxes sit in wet environments.
Still a paper pack
Unlike film lamination, the coating does not turn the carton into a composite material. It remains repulpable in standard paper recycling streams, supporting customers with packaging-reduction and recyclability commitments.
