Since June 1997

A specialist plant on the shore of Taihu Lake

Wholly owned by a Singapore-listed packaging group, Tat Seng Packaging (Suzhou) has spent nearly three decades turning imported machinery, applied research and strict process control into cartons that behave exactly as specified.

Company profile

Nineteen million dollars, one plant, one standard

Tat Seng Packaging (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. sits on a 112-mu site in Wangting Town, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou — a location chosen for its access to the Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai industrial belt and to the port infrastructure that carries our export work.

The company was established in 1996 and commissioned in June 1997 with a capital investment of USD 19.64 million. Total assets now stand at approximately RMB 327 million, with a modern main production hall of 50,000 m² alongside complete office and staff accommodation buildings.

We are classified as a High-Tech Enterprise and operate an independent provincial-level R&D centre with a substantial research team holding dozens of national packaging patents. Of our 320 employees, ten are international specialists placed in key leadership roles.

Manufacturing capability

What actually runs the plant

Most of our principal machinery was imported, and much of it is key equipment that determines whether a specification can be met at all. High precision, full automation and high efficiency are the three reasons our pricing stays competitive without discounting quality.

German BHS high-speed corrugator

2.8 m working width, maximum sheet 2,800 × 4,000 mm. Produces three-, five- and six-layer composite board, including special flute combinations such as AA, AC and EB.

Taiwan seven-layer corrugator

1.8 m working width. Beyond standard flutes it can produce eight-layer composite board, with sheet lengths exceeding four metres.

Japanese Mitsubishi multi-station line

Working range 2,470 × 1,000 mm. Three-colour printing, slotting, corner cutting, die-cutting, folding, gluing and bundling completed in a single pass.

Swedish EMBA multi-station line

Working range 1,600 × 800 mm. Two-colour printing, slotting, folding, gluing and bundling in one continuous operation.

Swiss extra-large flat-bed die-cutter

Automatic sheet feed 2,032 × 1,270 mm, automatic die loading and automatic waste stripping, with optical camera secondary positioning for high accuracy.

Extra-large print-slotter die-cutter

Processes board up to 2.5 × 4.3 m (10.75 m²) in three colours, with a register accuracy of ±0.5 mm — the basis of our fine-print and full-bleed work.

American APS-360 glue system

Ultra-fine particle starch mixing, rarely seen in the domestic industry, which measurably raises the bond strength of every board we make.

Six die-cutting and slotting lines

Including fully automatic lines from Mitsubishi (Japan), TCY and Yu Hong (Taiwan) and EMBA (Sweden), giving us both capacity and redundancy.

Corporate culture

Four statements that settle everyday decisions

Culture is only useful if it resolves a trade-off. Ours does: when speed and quality conflict, quality wins, and the rest follows from there.

Our vision

Strive for perfection, pursue excellence, and become the benchmark of the packaging industry.

Business philosophy

Customer satisfaction, steady development, employee wellbeing, sustainable operation.

Our mission

Create value for customers, opportunity for employees, returns for shareholders, and take responsibility for society.

Code of conduct

Respect the system, be willing to take responsibility, assign responsibility to individuals, be result-oriented.

The Tat Seng People's Compact

Be conscientious. Be fast. Keep your promise. Never make excuses.
