Bag-in-Box Integrated Chemical Carton
Carton and inner liner supplied as one unit for fine powders and moisture-sensitive chemicals.
Overview
Bag-in-box combines a structural outer carton with an inner liner that is inserted and sealed as a single unit. It is the preferred format for fine powders, hygroscopic salts and any product where the barrier matters as much as the box.
One-unit assembly
The liner is pre-inserted and its edges are captured under the top flaps, so packers do not handle a loose bag. Filling, sealing and closing happen in one sequence, which reduces labour and eliminates the liner slippage that causes leaks on conventional bag-and-box lines.
Barrier to match the product
Liner options include metallised PET, aluminium foil and EVOH structures, selected against the moisture-vapour and oxygen transmission rates the product demands. The carton itself provides the compression strength and print surface.
Leak and dust control
Heat-sealed liner seams and a double-locked base limit dust escape and product loss. For liquids, spouted liners with a tap position can be supplied so the outer carton acts as the dispensing stand.
