Moisture-Proof Corrugated Box

Overview

Container transport exposes packaging to prolonged humidity and sharp temperature swings. This moisture-proof box combines a coated liner, sealed construction and desiccant provision to keep the internal environment dry from gate to gate.

Barrier against vapour, not just water

A laminated high-barrier film or a heavy coated liner reduces the moisture-vapour transmission rate of the board itself. Sealed seams and a fully glued base close the remaining paths that humidity normally exploits.

Managing temperature cycling

Condensation forms when a container cools overnight. By controlling the internal moisture load and adding a calculated desiccant charge, the box keeps relative humidity below the dew point risk for the duration of the voyage.

Simple validation

We supply a stated MVTR figure for each construction and can run a climatic chamber test that mirrors the customer's real route. Desiccant quantity is calculated from internal volume, barrier performance, transit duration and product moisture content.
